Translate, repeat, retrace.

After conducted a series of interviews and collected the testimonies of three generations of Polish Jews living in Argentina, “Translate, repeat, retrace” guides the viewer into details of lost memories in the contemporary landscape of Warsaw.
The short film attempt to focus on the details that tend to be overlooked in the accounts of witnesses of history, such as places or flavors remembered personally or learned from the stories of relatives.
The narration in three languages: Yiddish, Polish and Spanish, attempts to represent the mode of action and reconstruction of recalling, inherited and passed through generations.
