Remember our struggle!

Hundreds of thousands of Poles were fighting at all fronts of the World War II against German fascism. On the 67th anniversary of the liberation in 2012, nine of them return for the first time to the arena of war of the ‘Battle of Berlin’. While the confrontation with the past triggers a wave of memories, their encounter with today’s German citizens holds surprises. But do the Berliners remember their liberators? And what is the combatants’ legacy for the generations to come?
