Polish Go Home

“Polish Go Home” is an unorthodox migration story about a troubled character trying to find his place in the world. Sleeping rough in London, sometime Polish jobseeker Kuba is running away from the responsibility of family life in Poland – and a difficult past. This film follows his journey back to Poland to face the problems he left behind and in search of an elusive place to call home.

Director Biography

Elena Andreicheva is a London-based filmmaker of Ukrainian origin. She has carved out a niche for producing hard-hitting documentaries for British and American TV, as well as pursuing a variety of independent projects. She is drawn to big drama at close quarters: exploring ‘big’ issues through intimate situations, and fusing strong journalism with great heart.
